Trout mugs girl for her £5 note

A TROUT mugged a young visitor to its aquarium and stole her £5.
Aquarium staff are trying to identify the fish, which grabbed the money out of the schoolgirl's hand and ate it. The fish, part of a shoal of rainbow trout, snatched the cash from under the nose of curator Jonathan Turner as he was taking children on a tour. 'A young member of the school trip had neatly folder the note and was holding it in her hand', he explained. 'Somehow it ended up in the trout's mouth. I can only think it must have thought it was one of the pellets we sually feed them with.' Signs warn vistors to the Aquartium of the Lakes, at Windermere in the Lake District, not to learn over and touch the fish because they could bite. 'But this is the first time anone has been mugged by one', added Mr Turned.
